Quoting from the movie, "Pardeshi Babu is a story of an alien who comes from a different planet and lands in Punjab." In fact, it's a story of a 'papasra' who later finds himself in love with an alien girl. The movie is loosely based on the alien-human love story of the 1965 film 'Where No Man Has Gone Before'. The main characters are played by Jaggu Gill and Reema Bajwa. The movie's official launch took place at Government College for Boys, Jalandhar on 20 April 2011. It was also released in Ludhiana on 26 April 2011. It is the first movie jointly produced by PTC Punjabi and Saadi Productions. The soundtrack of the film was composed by Jatinder Shah.
